When you create an account with Fourthman, we collect basic information including your email address, business name, and business type. When you connect your WhatsApp account, we process messages received by your business to generate AI responses on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Fourthman service:

  • Processing incoming WhatsApp messages to generate AI responses
  • Storing conversation history for context-aware replies
  • Maintaining your business knowledge base and settings
  • Sending you essential notifications (session alerts, billing)

3. Data Security

We take your security seriously:

  • All session data is encrypted with Fernet symmetric encryption
  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
  • We implement rate limiting and SSRF protection

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Your business data, messages, and customer interactions remain private to you. AI processing happens through secure API providers (Groq/Anthropic) with no data retention on their end.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you cancel your subscription or delete your account, all associated data (messages, knowledge base, session data) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your data at any time
  • Disconnect your WhatsApp at any time

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
